Whilst we make sure you have fun during a Cheeky event, we never sacrifice the quality of the food you’ll create. Most groups are absolutely gob-smacked when they see and taste their delicious creations.
Below is a selection of some of our favourites. Your menu will depend on the theme, no of people, dietary requirements, the location and venue and of course…the seasons! ENJOY!
Greek Style Lamb - a beautiful piece of lamb back strap which is marinated in dry-fried spices and placed on the BBQ, finished with a spiced yogurt sauce, grilled lemons and charred Turkish bread.
Wicked Brownies - Dark, rich and delicious with Kahluah Mascarpone and strawberry garnishing.

Moroccan Chicken Tagine
|
Chocolate Pots with Spanish Sherry Cured Cherries – Rich, smooth, tangy and scrumptious cherries mascerated in Spanish Sherry with cinnamon and spice, will be drizzled over a pot of wickedly luscious chocolate.
Moroccan Chicken Tagine - a fantastic mixture of spices, chicken, dates, preserved lemons, olives & cous cous. Always a crowd favourite and it looks spectacular.
Harissa – a hot and spicy accompaniment to the Moroccan Chicken.
Green Beans with Almond Vinaigrette - Simple but fresh and delicious. Teaching everyone the art of blanching vegetables and keeping perfect crunchiness. Great for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.
Prawns Saganaki - A Greek dish which is a big hit as it is flambéed with ouzo then finished with ripe tomato and feta to melt, fresh thyme, garlic and shallots. Or it could be our Hawaiian Prawn Flambé with Coconut Rum!!!

Cheeky includes a flambé dish in almost every team cooking event – fun, theatre & entertainment – and yes, it will be YOU doing the flambé, but we’ll be there right with you!

BBQ Asparagus with Spicy Pecans - a delicious platter of bbq’d asparagus lightly coated in Walnut Vinaigrette with Pecans cooked in maple syrup and a touch of cayenne, then sprinkled with blue cheese.
Quinoa Salad – using the ancient Aztec grain, Quinoa, we’ll toast, then cook the grains and toss with sun-dried tomatoes, vinaigrette, toasted pepita seeds and other delicacies. This grain is the NEW thing in many restaurants, so you’ll love being one of the first to use it.
Key Lime Tarts - Great little tarts that are a zing of fresh lime, and often served with little meringues. The bakers will love it!
Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Orange and Rum - a spiced dish with rosemary, rum, orange and brown sugar to caramelise the sweet potatoes. Very South American and a big hit with the groups.
Lemon Marinated Mushrooms - Baby Mushrooms cooked in a reduction of white wine and lemon with hints of juniper berries, thyme, garlic, pepper and bay leaves. An excellent addition to the buffet and a great vegetarian option.

BBQ Vegetables with Basil Vinaigrette
- a variety of squash, zucchini, capsicums, Japanese eggplant and cherry tomatoes, finished with an Italian dressing with Parmesan and Basil.
Aubergine Salad - A smokey eggplant salad with fresh roma tomatoes, flat leaf parsley, garlic and lemon. Superb with the lamb dish and even people who normally don't like eggplant, love this one!
Surprise Salad - This is a platter of seasonal ingredients so people can use their creative edge to design and produce something totally on their own – even the dressing! Fantastic for getting people to think out of the box….look at what Ogilvy PR did with their box of goodies!
