News Flash....Cheeky lands in FIJI…

What an exciting month for Cheeky. Amongst a swag of End of Financial Year team celebrations, we managed to squeeze in a trip to Fiji for a team cooking event!
When asked if we could manage 80 wanna-be chefs at the Sofitel Fiji, we said “of course”!! Our interactive cooking event was part of a 5 day conference focusing on Healthy Living. Most inspiring is that this pharmaceutical company booked Cheeky to leverage a holistic approach to mental health treatment – way beyond the usual pharmaceutical solution.
It was fantastic to see their brand manager and his team of 80 colleagues (and our chefs) get really passionate and committed about mental health and looking at broader community-based answers.
Bigger issues were the focus and the key messages were all about ensuring people with mental health issues are given the chance to learn about diet, cooking and a healthy and positive lifestyle. It was made personal and from the heart, which really helped make this both a fun and uplifting event.
Everyone at Cheeky really loved joining forces with other passionate people and how to give back to the community.

PS. As an aside, this was a tricky event to organize, but it all came together beautifully and I can highly recommend the Sofitel Fiji for your next conference – superb operations, professional and all with a smile!
PPS. The night before flying to Fiji, I did the CEO Sleepout for St Vinnies at Luna Park with the CEO from the above company. 220 CEOs raised over $570,000…sensational…and we got to sleep on the metal floor of the Dodge ‘Em cars with a piece of cardboard and a sleeping bag!
Very humbling and successful, and it’s set to go international, so pls get behind this any way you can.
