We're always on the look out for top chefs and staff who understand what Cheeky does - that we’re not a standard cooking class! We’re creating an EVENT, whether for 100 conference delegates on Hamilton Island or for one our Tapas Classes in Sydney.

The Role
You will be part of a fun, professional team and a company that has increased its turnover every year since its inception 10 years ago. The director has big plans for Cheeky Food Group and we would want you to be part of these plans. This is a role where you need to use enticement, creating an element of excitement for the product, leading the client to invest in an experience their team will never forget. Your key role will be to take enquiries from corporations across Australia, working on proposals that could see 20 chefs flying into Perth to do a cook up in a marquee on a jetty for a group of 400. To an intimate themed event for 20 in Sydney.
There is also some cold calling with lots of follow up to past clients and prospects. The work is never dull. Then once booked, you’ll organise the event yourself or hand it over to our dynamic Event and Ops teams, continuing to enjoy client contact. If you love and enjoy anything to do with food, cooking, conferences, events and entertainment ……you will thrive!
Approximately 65% of our business is repeat and referral so you really get to know our clients and you’ll be part of ensuring the trust factor is high. You’ll also be part of the company’s regular meetings and brainstorms where everyone is encouraged to participate and assist in developing new markets and attend industry networking events. This is a full time role at our Surry Hills Sydney office.
Personal Skills required for the role: ·
Be the Cheeky Brand which means you need to be able to present yourself as someone who is fun and professional ·
3 years experience in a sale/account management role ·
Experience in B to B sales ·
If you have a background in hospitality, the event /conference industry, food or cooking, you will be highly regarded – this is not 100% essential, but only as long as you can work with: A team of go-getters plus 20 ego-free, fun chefs ,Good CRM , Outlook, Word and Excel skills, You don’t need a tertiary qualification, though we do respect them.

General Admin / MYOB / Cooking Classes.
Need 2 years MYOB, invoicing, taking payments, expenses etc. About 40-50% of the role. External book-keepers do BAS, payroll and supplier payments. Other 50% is general office help for Sales and Marketing teams, and also looking after our cooking event photos and recipes. $50-$60K + super.
Presenter Chefs
If you’ve got charisma, love teaching and ‘get’ that the people attending are the real stars of the show (not us!), then we’d love to hear from you. You’ll need “hot” cooking skills of at least 3 years professionally, preferably as a chef.
